Here's my African Twilight finished and being used by me. I loved the pattern, and it was super easy to memorize. I'm definitely making this one again. I had about 50g left over of the blue and about 10g of the purple. The colors really came out well, despite having doubts at the beginning. 
I received the above yarn as part of Fibres d'Art's yarn club, and I immediately thought about Stephen West's Daybreak, but I didn't know if I had enough yarn to complete the project, so I decided to try it out with Malabrigo Sock in African Violet and Cote d'Azur first as that has the same yardage as the two Fibres d'Art yarns.Result: African Twilight almost complete (I'm making the large version), although the photos below only show the beginning. I have about 25g left over of the Cote d'Azur and I don't know how much I'll have left over of the African Violet as I'm on the border right now. In other words, I should be able to squeeze another one out of the Fibres d'Art yarns easy enough, I'm calling that one Chocolate Sampler (as you can see above).
This is Aestlight Shawl I made using Malabrigo Sock yarn color Red Boticelli. A lot of my knitting friends here in Portugal had already made it and I really loved the shawl and so eventually ended up making one myself.
I've decided to give this one to my grandmother, either for her birthday in November or for Christmas, I'm not sure yet which.
I loved making this shawl and it's so much easier than it looks I definitely will be making myself one of these in the near future.
Here's Jojo modeling her new winter sweater, she didn't much care that it was about 25 degrees outside when she tried on this sweater. The color is not as red as it looks, it's more a cherise color in real life.

This is Liz Abinante's Saroyan, that's to say I followed her pattern, but the scarf is mine. I made it in Malabrigo Sock Yarn color Velvet Grape.
And finally my very own design, I called these fingerless gloves Igulavu (meaning gloves in Zulu) and I used some Blue Faced Leicester wool that I home dyed several months ago.
